Sweetie let me tell you something, we are all statistics. Your job is to play your role. Let me explain.

My Father and Grandparents raised me. Statistic number 1. I lost my virginity before marriage. Statistic number number 2. I graduated college....after 7 years, Statistic number 3. I had my first child before obtaining a college degree. Statistic number 4. I am a first generation college GRADUATE. Statistic number 5.

Let's be clear, these stats can work for me or against me. I CHOOSE to play my role. Right? I get to tell my story. Right? I get to be the narrator of this book. Right?

Being a statistic is not always a bad thing. And baby let me tell you something, we are all struggling to make the stats work in our favor. Realizing how far I have come was necessary for my growth, and it is necessary for your growth. I am the author of this book, along with God of course. I mean he wrote the book, I'm just a character, ok anyway lol. I want you to get in the habit of making this world work FOR you not against you. I got you! Don't forget that. (no really, I need you to remember that!!!)

I created this platform for Mothers that look just like me, sound just like me and love just like me. This world is a hard place to live in, exist in, but with the support of others, we can rock our shit!
